Investment Advice and Buy-to-Let Consultancy
In conjunction with our Lettings Department, Solo Property Services, we can advise on residential property, in regards to investment potential, development potential, residential and student letting, and generally maximising the income and capital return on your residential property or property portfolio in the Exeter area, although much of our advice could be applicable anywhere.

Collectively, we have first hand knowledge of property selling and buying, property investment, property development and property letting and management so we can and do advise from personal experience.

Depending on the type and level of service and advice required, fees may be charged but we offer free no obligation initial consultations and any fees would always be agreed in advance.

Property Acquisition Service
As well as advising on what to buy, we can even take on the leg work of finding and even acquiring that perfect property on your behalf, whether for home or investment, and can offer everything from just undertaking the initial property search and sorting the wheat from the chaff, to viewing and reporting on potentially suitable properties for you, to negotiating for and managing the actual purchase of a property on your behalf.

Fees obviously vary depending on the level of service required but we have successfully carried out this work for other clients from just passing comment on property particulars they showed us to negotiating and managing the purchase of a £1.25 million development investment.
Project Management Service
Should you need to undertake work on your new property, whether as a home or investment, we can also offer a refurbishment project management service, whereby we agree a specification with you, obtain quotes as necessary, appoint contractors and oversee the work to completion on your behalf.

Through our Letting Department, we have a lot of experience in dealing with day to day minor emergency and routine maintenance and repairs but we have also overseen several full refurbishments for clients, who have not been physically able to be here to do it themselves, with the most recent having a total spend of approximately £25,000.
We obviously charge a fee for this service but with our extensive contractor contacts and understanding of what this type of work should cost, we work hard to get the best job done at the best price to meet your requirements. 

Mortgages, Financial Advice and Insurance
We have associations with several specialist and independent mortgage brokers, Independent Financial Advisors and insurance companies, who can advise on mortgage products, other financial products - such as pensions, life insurance, income protection, retirement and tax planning - and insurance products respectively, should you require professional advice.
Legal and Accountancy Services
We have associations with a number of firms of solicitors offering not only property conveyancing services but also wills, probate, employment, civil and criminal law services amongst others. Additionally, we have associations with a number of accountancy firms offering a wide range of services including book keeping, payroll, annual accounts and tax planning.
Surveys and Specialist Reports
We have associations with chartered surveyors, structural engineers and damp and timber specialists, amongst others and will be pleased to give guidance on which of these may be appropriate.
Building and Maintenance Services
We have associations with general builders, handymen, electricians, plumbers, gas engineers, window fitters, cleaners, gardeners and carpet fitters amongst others, many of whom we have longstanding relationships with through our property management department.
